Overview
The PhD in Information Technology program at Murang'a University is
designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and research
skills in the field of IT. This program focuses on developing
innovative solutions to complex problems in technology and
information systems.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must hold a master's degree in information technology or
a related field with a strong academic record. A research proposal
and relevant publications are highly recommended. Candidates may
also be required to attend an interview.

East Africa Community (EAC) shall pay
20% more of the tuition fee.

Payment of Fees Fee for a semester is payable in full by the
5th week of the semester.

Registration Students are required to
register for every semester even when carrying out
research.

Exam Regulation and Grading
The PhD program adheres to the university's examination regulations.
Students must pass comprehensive exams before proceeding to the
dissertation phase. The dissertation must be an original
contribution to the field of information technology and will be
evaluated by a panel of experts.
