Overview
The Master of Science in Agricultural Economics (MSc.AE) program at
Murang'a University is designed to equip students with advanced
knowledge and skills in agricultural economics, policy analysis, and
rural development. This program aims to prepare graduates for
leadership roles in the agricultural sector, focusing on economic
analysis, resource management, and sustainable development
practices.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the MAE program, applicants must
possess a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics, or
a related field from a recognized institution. Additionally,
candidates should demonstrate proficiency in quantitative methods
and have a strong interest in agricultural policy and rural
development

food and other personal expenses.

Foreign Students Students from outsite
East Africa Community (EAC) shall pay
20% more of the tuition fee.

Payment of Fees Fee for a semester is payable in full by the
5th week of the semester.

Registration Students are required to
register for every semester even when carrying out
research.

Exam Regulation and Grading
The MAE program adheres to the examination regulations set by
Murang'a University. Students are expected to maintain academic
integrity and adhere to the university's policies regarding
examinations, including attendance, conduct, and submission of
