Overview
The Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management is a
comprehensive program designed to equip students with advanced
knowledge and skills in the hospitality and tourism industry. The
program covers various aspects of hospitality management, tourism
development, and sustainable practices, preparing graduates for
leadership roles in this dynamic sector.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Hospitality
and Tourism Management program, applicants must meet the following
criteria:

A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management,
Business Administration, or a related field with at least a second
class honors (upper division) or equivalent.

Relevant work experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is
an added advantage.

A completed application form along with required documents,
including academic transcripts and letters of recommendation.

food and other personal expenses.

East Africa Community (EAC) shall pay
20% more of the tuition fee.

Payment of Fees Fee for a semester is payable in full by the
5th week of the semester.

Registration Students are required to
register for every semester even when carrying out
research.

Exam Regulation and Grading
The MAE program adheres to the examination regulations set by
Murang'a University. Students are expected to maintain academic
integrity and adhere to the university's policies regarding
examinations, including attendance, conduct, and submission of
assignments. Detailed exam guidelines are provided in the student
handbook.
